A day to begin, A day to end.

So what's a day that begins and is also an end?

It's a day that you start writing on your blog and stop pushing it off. Clever eh? Not so much, BUT NONETHELESS! I shall blather away.

I spent some time thinking about just what it was that I wanted to convey on this oh special day of blog post #1.

What I've settled on is this, Resolutions. New Years is coming up and around the corner (2 Days after my birthday on December 30th, hint hint) and every year people will come up with a resolution in their head that they going to either stop something, or start something. Yet, every year, disappointment creeps in as this life changing decision fades day after day till eventually it becomes nonexistent.

So what's the solution? What can we possibly do to change this? The answer? Nothing, absolutely nothing. For as long as you try to change something in your life on your own, I promise you, you will fail.

Awesome, so what now? There is a better way to accomplish the things you truly yearn for in life. Give it up. Stop trying. Quit focusing on doing it yourself. How you do this, is by letting the one who made what is, become what it needs to be.

The real answer? God. As a human, you will never be anything more than.. well.. human. Once you realize you actually aren't all that powerful in this world, that you eventually always fall back into being human no matter how hard you try, maybe you can consider letting God take over and handle the situation for you. It should almost be a relief knowing that you don't have to do anything and God has to do everything, all you have to do is completely give it to him.

Just make sure you're thankful to the big guy, he likes to be appreciated every now and then.
